![]() ![]() Second, ai is extremely bad, not in terms of easy/hard, but in terms of exploits. You go on a ridiculous streak and you do efficient things for the mode and you pretty much get the habit of doing them by the end of your run, because it's a non stop fighting and it can last for a very long time, depending when you slip up and lose. I think it's very disruptive to a learning player.įirst, it messes up my muscle memory. It even manages to lower my skill even though I play it with a conscious mind that it teaches bad habits. I personally think that treasure battle is the worst place to practice. I instantly fell in love with katarina and played the crap out of her and I'm pretty successful online as well (for a beginner). I played through all story mode episodes and got to chose my fighter based on my experience. there are a couple of fighters in the game which are really simple but still very strong. And you might wanna check if the fighter you chose is actually uitable for a beginner. there is no need to bore yourself through training mode even thou it wont hurt either. It's not like, say, OW, where you queue for a match with a fresh account and LITERALLY see people standing in place.Ĭha0zb0rn a écrit :just start with treasure battle and you will get better eventually. They are EXTREMELY incestuous as a genre. (you as in, a new guy diving into the pvp).įor a complete beginner, there's usually no one for MM to work with, when it comes to fighting games. You could go to sfv, a considerably more inviting game, and people in low bronze would destroy you even if they messed around with things like, not using kicks or whatever. And if it did, it would be the most normal thing ever for a newcomer to a specific fighting franchise. ![]() I mean, I was literally (and I mean literally) expecting to go something like 0-100. I should know, I get stomped regularly:) But I know the drill. Even with easier games, it's simply not possible to dive in and not be stomped by literally everyone who queued. This is especially hard to achieve in legacy games. In fighting games in general, it usually can't, because most of the actually brand new people don't play other people or drop the game after 2-3 days. If you have so much trouble, play Story mode, Arcade mode and Treasure battles. Crowbar a écrit :if you keep loosing, then the matchmaking system is doing something wrong, because it should face you against equally skilled opponents. ![]()
